Agastache rugosus (Fisch. Et Mey.) o.kotze is a plant from the labiaceae family. methyl chavicol, limonene, α-pinene, β-pinene, para-cymene, linalool, and i-eugenene are the main components of essential oil extracted from dried whole grass. It has the effect of dispelling summer-heat and relieving surface, dispelling dampness and stomach. It can be used to treat the symptoms of summer-damp cold, chest tightness, abdominal pain, vomiting and diarrhea.
The preparation method of the extract of Agastache rugosus (Fisch. Et Mey.) o.kotze was obtained from the labiaceae plant. In the vigorous growth period, in fine and wintry weather, the whole grass was cut from the ground and cut into fresh sections, about 2 ~ 3cm long, every 100kg of fresh whole grass or whole plant, with 95% ethanol of 2kg, reflux extraction for 3 times, each time for 2 hours, filtration, combining the filtrate, recovering the ethanol and concentrated into thick paste, vacuum drying, crushing into fine powder, and sifting to obtain the cablin extract.
